UNDERAGE DRINKING LAWS & FALSE ID LAWS
As of May 24, 1988, anyone under 21 who is
- Lying about their age
- Buying alcohol
- Carrying false id:
- 1st offense – 3 month license suspension of license
- 2nd offense – 1 year suspension of license
- 3rd offense – 2 year suspension of license
Teenagers without a license will begin their suspension on their
16th birthday, preventing them from getting a learner’s permit.
Fine up to $500.00. Falsely claim someone is 21 - $300.00 fine
– will be suspended even if it has nothing to do with driving.
